Aerial Works

This service allows pilots, who doesn't hold GACA Airman Certificates, to request for temporary flight authorization (TFA) on Saudi registered Aircraft to fly aircraft for relocation and maintenance purposes.

GACAR-PART 61.57 & EBOOK V9 (CHP 2, SEC 15)

  1. TFA01- A certification by the owner or operator of the aircraft
  2. TFA02- Evidence that the applicant has passed the KSA AIP knowledge test
  3. TFA03- Copy of TFA fees slip.
  4. TFA04- A current and valid foreign pilot license issued by the aeronautical authority of a Contracting State to the Convention on International Civil Aviation that contains the appropriate aircraft category , class, type rating, (see description)
  5. TFA05- Foreign Pilot License
  6. TFA06- Valid Foreign Medical (Class 1)
  7. TFA07- Pilot’s certificate verification
  1. Application : The applicant must submit all relevant documents as requested by the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
  2. Review : GACA will review the documents submitted by the applicant and verify if it complies with the regulations and can ask the applicant to update his application.
  3. Issue : GACA will only issue the Certificate/Permit when the E-Service process allows it and GACA is completely satisfied that all regulatory requirements have been adequately addressed.
  4. Delivery : The Certificate/Permit will either be delivered electronically or manually according to the E-Service process.
