General Aviation

This service allows beneficiaries to apply for approval of check pilot via electronic channels.

  1. CPA01-letter of request constitutes the operator’s nomination.
  2. CPA02- Copy of the airman’s appropriate airman certificates
  3. CPA03-Copy of the airman’s medical certificate (if applicable)
  4. CPA04-Training records, including initial, transition, or upgrade training for requested aircraft type
  5. CPA05-Most recent recurrent training record
  6. CPA06-Check pilot training record
  7. CPA07-Airman holds applicable certificates and ratings for the requested position.
  8. CPA08-Airman has completed all required training (initial, transition, or upgrade) for the requested aircraft type.
  9. CPA09- Airman has successfully completed the most recent recurrent training.
  10. CPA10-Airman has completed applicable check pilot training.
  11. CPA11- All required documentation is complete and attached.
  1. Application : The applicant must submit all relevant documents as requested by the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
  2. Review : GACA will review the documents submitted by the applicant and verify if it complies with the regulations and can ask the applicant to update his application.
  3. Issue : GACA will only issue the Certificate/Permit when the E-Service process allows it and GACA is completely satisfied that all regulatory requirements have been adequately addressed.
  4. Delivery : The Certificate/Permit will either be delivered electronically or manually according to the E-Service process.
