This service is for limited use by certified Air Navigation Meteorological Services providers under GACAR Part 179 who are meeting the requirements of GACAR Part 179 and wish to apply for manuals approval or acceptance.

A. The applicant must submit the required documentation and all related supporting evidence that will be considered for the approval/acceptance ensuring full compliance of relevant GACARs requirements and any other applicable requirements and ensuring high quality and accuracy of the manual’s contents.

B. Designated GACA-ANS Safety Inspector(s) is/are assigned to review submitted application and its supporting documentation and evidence, to verify and check its conformity against the relevant GACARs requirements.

C. After reviewing the application, the certified Air Navigation Meteorological Services provider will be notified about the outcome with all comments and input that needs to be considered, if any.

  1. AMSV01- Application letter submitted to GACA ANS-Directorate.
  2. AMSV02- Current approved/accepted version of the manual.
  3. AMSV03- Requested version signed by the concerned personnel within the certified Air Navigation Meteorological Services provider.
  1. Application : The applicant must submit all relevant documents as requested by the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
  2. Review : GACA will review the documents submitted by the applicant and verify if it complies with the regulations and can ask the applicant to update his application.
  3. Issue : GACA will only issue the Certificate/Permit when the E-Service process allows it and GACA is completely satisfied that all regulatory requirements have been adequately addressed.
  4. Delivery : The Certificate/Permit will either be delivered electronically or manually according to the E-Service process.
