Airspace Management Change

This service facilitates the acceptance of the Flight Procedure Design (FPD) or Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) Flight Validation (FV) manuals and its revisions. These manuals serve as key resources for standardizing the processes related to designing and validating instrument flight procedures in compliance with GACAR Part 172 and ICAO Doc 8168, Volume II. The acceptance process ensures that the manuals meet all necessary regulatory, operational, and safety requirements, as stipulated by GACAR Part 172 and ICAO DOC 8168, Volume II.

Procedure:

A. Application: Submit all relevant documents in accordance with GACAR part 172.

B. Review: GACA specialist will review the submission package to verify compliance with regulations and may request updates if necessary.

C. Issue: GACA will issue approval upon satisfactory completion of all regulatory requirements.

D. Delivery: The approval will be delivered electronically or manually, according to the e-Service process.

  4. FPD04- Proposal amendment of operations specifications (OPS SPEC)
  1. Application : The applicant must submit all relevant documents as requested by the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
  2. Review : GACA will review the documents submitted by the applicant and verify if it complies with the regulations and can ask the applicant to update his application.
  3. Issue : GACA will only issue the Certificate/Permit when the E-Service process allows it and GACA is completely satisfied that all regulatory requirements have been adequately addressed.
  4. Delivery : The Certificate/Permit will either be delivered electronically or manually according to the E-Service process.

Target Audience

Audience : All certified Instrument flight procedure services (IFPS) and IFP Flight Validation service providers that hold or required to hold an Air Navigation Service Certificate (ANSC) under General Authority of Civil Aviation Regulation (GACAR) Part 170 to be an IFPS or FV service provider who are seeking the acceptance of FPD or FV OPS manual.
