1-Permission For Establishment Of A New Aerodrome

This service provides the beneficiaries to apply for permission for establishment of a new aerodrome and associated siting and technical parameters of the aerodrome. Note to Requestor:

  2. AERODROME OPERATOR STATEMENT OF REGULATIONS NON-COMPLIANCE. (FORM:ASD-139-1632) ( Download )
  3. APPLICATION FORM FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW AERODROME ( Download )
  1. EA01-Application form duly filled and signed by an applicant for establishment of aerodrome in the prescribed form.
  2. EA02-Statement of compliance and non- compliances if any with regulations in the prescribed form
  3. EA03-Proof of ownership or lease rights of the land
  4. EA04- Environment Impact Assessment Report and Letter of No Objection from NCEC.
  5. EA05-Aerodrome feasibility study report (see full description)
  6. EA06-Aeronautical Study Report, if applicable
  7. EA07-Approvals for establishment of aerodrome from Municipality
  8. EA08-No Objection certificate for establishment of Aerodrome from SANS.
  9. EA09-Details of consultant entity, if appointed
  10. EA10-Any other relevant document(s) required by the President.
  1. Application : The applicant must submit all relevant documents as requested by the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
  2. Review : GACA will review the documents submitted by the applicant and verify if it complies with the regulations and can ask the applicant to update his application.
  3. Issue : GACA will only issue the Certificate/Permit when the E-Service process allows it and GACA is completely satisfied that all regulatory requirements have been adequately addressed.
  4. Delivery : The Certificate/Permit will either be delivered electronically or manually according to the E-Service process.
